School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT)

Location: Cleveland, TN

Employment Type: Part-Time

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT)
to join our school-based therapy team. The OT will evaluate, plan, and
implement therapy services to support students’ participation in school
activities and enhance their independence across the educational
setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations to determine students’ needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals.
• Provide direct and consultative therapy services within the classroom and school environment.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student development.
• Monitor and document student progress while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and district regulations.
• Educate staff and caregivers on strategies to support student participation.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active OT license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain before start date).
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred, not required.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Passion for helping children thrive in their educational setting.
