School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)

Location: Manchester, TN

Employment Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our school-based therapy team. Under the supervision of a licensed SLP, the SLPA will help implement individualized treatment plans, provide direct therapy services, and support students in developing their communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out treatment plans designed by the supervising SLP.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
  • Collect and record student progress data.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and the therapy team to reinforce goals in the classroom environment.
  • Prepare and organize therapy materials and activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and district regulations under the direction of the supervising SLP.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or Bachelor’s in Communication Sciences and Disorders (or related field).
  • Active SLPA license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain before start date).
  • School-based or pediatric experience preferred, not required.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
  • A passion for working with children and supporting their educational success.
